The Project

Triangle El Born is located on the corner of Carrer del Triangle and Carrer del Hostal de Sant Antoni, a secluded location rich with medieval character, where archways and alleys intertwine and encourage exploration, and where freedom from traffic adds to the peaceful atmosphere.

Next to a medieval archway, Triangle El Born has undergone a meticulous restoration, clearly on show from first look thanks to the rejuvenation of its original 400 year-old artistic façade.

Inside, local artisans have brought to life original features including the impressive lobby, 3.8m high vaulted Catalan ceilings with exposed beams, stonework and classic Barcelona mosaic tiles.

The Restoration process

The criteria for the conservation and restoration process carried out throughout the building and specifically on the remaining fragments of wall murals within the building, has been to respect and maintain the values of the original work, with the use of materials compatible with the original, and its balanced integration into the new refurbishment.

The Restoration Gallery

Exceptional finishes

Triangle el Born is proud to show off its rich history. The spectacular façade showcases its historic 17th Century medieval design and hints at the original features inside, including recovered classic 19th Century Barcelona tiles, brick cladding, wooden arches and beams. This heritage is perfectly complemented by high quality modern parquet floors, kitchens by Santos and Neff, central air conditioning, Climalit double-glazing, armored doors and an elevator.
